How soon we forget – “probably the world’s first vinyl lending library”

In an era when libraries are being closed around the country I was fascinated to read the following report:

“July marked the opening of Hackney’s – and probably the world’s – first vinyl lending library. Once upon a time, most public libraries had good collections of vinyl records for loan. Sit down crossed legs in front of me and I’ll tell you some stories of the past….
